II Delusional Rations - Saturnus Parousia


I have a feeling we came to stay.... but not alive... not alive, the skeletons of existence crawl into the bunks... to wither away... to die
Mist of sweat condenses on cold bodies.... and freezes
Delusion in rations... portioned... and preserved
Fine matter cadavers impregnate the air with mischief
The parousia of the sickle man seems tangible
Succumb to madness like Ahab, only colder, faster, deeper
Nightlessly benighted, catatonic and deaf, leg-bleached bent below deck
O cursed heart! You enemy in your own body
Poison pump, pushing madness and death through my veins
And constantly the ice is creaking
Rigor - the sickle sings
The limbs harden as if in ice shock
Stupor - the scythe swings
As in frost rigidity he lies prostrate
Fever steams, weaves in sweaty swaths darkness to death
And constantly the ice is creaking
The stoker was the first...
the green has given way to grey...
his shamrock has faded...
two shall follow...
And constantly the ice is creaking , creaks in my mind, creaks in my head
It pushes... It presses... It malms
Grinds strands of nerves, grinds my soul
Wedged tectonics of fear.
